Arches were the dominating architectural element, as with most Mughal structures but these are some of the most fabulously placed ones I have ever seen.

A view from the small lake - one of the highlights of the Hiran Minar compound is that there is a small lake that you can paddle boat in and take trip around the monument. It beautiful from everywhere.

Its an especially pretty foggy morning. You can actually feel the finest droplets of water on your face, like a very fine spray. Visilbility on the roads is almost zero and the driver gets us to office right on time. Huh?
